MEMBERS OF NSCCL 

President: Elizabeth Morgan is a Senior Landscape Conservation architect with Office of Public Works. She completed an M.A in Conservation of Historic Parks & Gardens at University of York in 1995. She is involved in conservation/ restoration and advisory works to Historic Landscapes and gardens including sites such as Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Farmleigh House, Muckross &, Killarney Houses.

Vice president: William Cumming is a Senior Architect in the Department of Arts,Heritage & the Gaeltacht. He is responsible for the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage and managed the NIAH Survey of Historic Gardens & Designed Landscapes ,which received the Europa Nostra award in 2009. and UK Landscape Institute research award in 2007 .He is a member of the Cultural Landscapes International Scientific Committee.

Secretary: Cora Coleman is a Historic Building & Landscape Consultant working in the private sector she has a wealth of experience researching and writing on built heritage projects including impact assessment, appraisals and statements of significance.

 


ORDINARY MEMBERS

Mary Laheen is an Architect and lecturer at the School of Architecture and Landscape, University College Dublin. She has a particular interest in cultural landscape, and has published (name) a book about the dry stone-walled field boundary system of the Aran Islands 

Gretta Doyle is a Conservation Architect in the Office of Public Works Conservation Unit, She was awarded the Rachel McRory Prize for her Masters thesis in Urban and Building Conservation at UCD in 2005. Since then she has worked primarily on Leinster House, and on the restoration of the 18thcentury demesne landscape at Castletown House Co. Kildare

Louise Harrington is an Architectural and Landscape Historian. She works in private practice having worked as a local authority conservation officer for ten years. Her research interests include heritage management, the architecture of Cork city and the Irish estate landscape

Tony Williams is a Landscape Architect with particular interest in cultural and historic landscapes.. He is a member of the council of the Irish Landscape Institute and IFLA   

Patrick Shaffrey is an Architect and town Planner with Shaffrey Associates. He has authored several books dealing with architecture and landscape including the neglected area of rural planning.

Margaret Gowen MA MIAI is an archaeological and heritage consultant with over 25 years experience in development-led heritage mediation (development control, planning and EIA) interdiscplinary conservation projects and archaeological mitigation. Member ICAH.

Loreto Guinan  

Prof Gabriel Cooney is Professor of Celtic Archaeology at the UCD School of Archaeology
