Vernacular mainphotoPresident: Dr. Fidelma Mullane, board member of the Heritage Council, a conservationist and vernacular architecture specialist working in private practice.

Vice President: Laura Bowen, a Conservation Architect, practicing in South Kildare, with a special interest in the conservation of the rural built heritage.

 

Members:

Deirdre McDermott is an conservation architect, planner and urbanist, with extensive experience of working and researching in vernacular architecture.

Colm Murray, the architecture officer of the Heritage Council, with a particular interest in maintaining the vitality of traditional forms of building.

Úna Ní Mhearain, an accredited Grade 1 conservation architect with wide experience in the conservation of vernacular architecture, who works in private practice.

Anna Meenan, Traditional Farm Buildings Grant Scheme Project Manager with The Heritage Council, overseeing the conservation of vernacular structures related to farming activities.

Nicki Matthews, an architect who works as part of the Grade I Accredited Conservation Team within Dublin City Council's City Architects Division that is responsible for the conservation remit within Dublin City. Her specialist topic is the evolution of Dublin city.

Barry O'Reilly has studied vernacular architecture for about thirty years; his current specialism is vernacular settlements.
